At least 25 people were killed and more than 100 others injured in a violent clash inside Negombo Prison in Sri Lanka on Sunday, officials confirmed on Monday.
The Supreme Court of India on Friday issued a set of guidelines aimed at addressing delays in the pronouncement of judgments by High Courts after hearings are completed. The court directed that judgments reserved by High Courts should ordinarily be pronounced within three months to ensure timely delivery of justice.
