Director Priyadarshan’s upcoming thriller Haiwaan, starring Bollywood heavyweights Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, is officially set to release in cinemas on September 11, 2026. The announcement has heightened anticipation among moviegoers, as the film brings together two of Indian cinema’s most popular stars in a high-stakes thriller.
The teaser of Batwara 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, was unveiled on Thursday and has quickly generated strong reactions online. The film features a prominent ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, and Ali Fazal. Backed by Aamir Khan’s production banner and set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition of India, the film is adapted from the acclaimed play Jis Lahore Nai Vekhya O Jamya E Nai by Asghar Wajahat.
