The proposed Shamli-Gorakhpur Expressway in Uttar Pradesh could reduce Delhi-NCR to Nepal border travel time to around eight hours. Spanning 742 kilometres, the Rs 40,000 crore project aims to improve regional connectivity, boost tourism and economic growth, and enhance transportation infrastructure across multiple districts in northern India.
