September 19, 2025: Apple CEO Tim Cook has unveiled the first official photographs taken with the new iPhone 17 Pro Max. Cook took to X (formerly Twitter) to share three stunning images, which he revealed were shot by artists Inez & Vinoodh, Mickalene Thomas, and Trunk Xu.
“Many thanks to Inez & Vinoodh, Mickalene Thomas, and Trunk Xu for capturing some of the first photographs with iPhone 17 Pro Max. Tonight was such a beautiful display of #ShotOniPhone photography,” Cook wrote in a post sharing the images.
The photographs, which have been lauded for their detail and artistic quality, showcase the advanced camera capabilities of the latest iPhone model. The first image depicts two people running down a city street, trailing a piece of red fabric against a setting sun. The second is a black-and-white photo of three dancers in a synchronized pose, and the third captures four skateboarders in action at a skatepark.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max, priced at ₹149,900, was launched in India today as part of the new iPhone 17 series. It’s available in Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue, with storage options ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB. The new Cosmic Orange color has garnered particular attention in India for its close resemblance to saffron.
The new model features a USB-C charge cable that supports fast charging but, like its predecessors, does not include a power adapter or EarPods in the box.
