PS5 and PC Versions Receive Latest Enhancements. New Patch Delivers Crash Fixes and Performance Improvements

July 23, 2025: The most recent update for Days Gone Remastered, the improved PlayStation 5 edition of Bend Studio’s 2019 open-world zombie adventure, is Patch 1.036.178. This July patch, which is also known as Patch 1.13 for PC players of Days Gone and its Broken Road DLC, adds a lot of general improvements to the game, such as fixing crashes, improving streaming performance, and updating translations.

Days Gone Remastered came out on PS5 on April 25, 2025. It has a big graphic upgrade and additional game modes, like the hard Horde Assault. This is the fifth patch that Bend Studio has released for both platforms since the game’s debut. They have always tried to improve the experience and fix bugs. The last big update came out on June 24.

The steady stream of patches shows that Bend Studio is still committed to Days Gone Remastered. This newest update comes at a very hard time for the PlayStation-owned developer, which lost 30% of its staff on June 10. This choice came after the firm canceled a live-service game earlier in 2025. Now, they are working on planning a new project.

Even if the studio is working on something else, a small group of fans still hopes for a sequel to Days Gone. The chances of a sequel to Deacon St. John’s adventures may have seemed slim before, but the successful launch and continuous support for the remaster have definitely brought those hopes back to life. But it’s not clear if the franchise will get another game in the future, and fans may have to wait a while for an official statement.
