July 3, 2025: Oppo Reno 14 5G – Oppo is set to officially launch its much-anticipated Reno 14 5G series in India tomorrow at 12:00 PM. The unveiling event will be streamed live on Oppo India’s official YouTube channel and social media platforms, marking the debut of the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro models in the Indian market.
The Reno 14 5G series was first introduced in China nearly two months ago, and now Indian consumers will get their first official look at the devices, which promise a blend of premium design, upgraded cameras, and powerful hardware.
Key Specs and Features
The Oppo Reno 14 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, while the Reno 14 Pro will feature the more powerful Dimensity 8450 SoC. Both models could offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample space.
Display-wise, the standard Reno 14 sports a 6.59-inch flat OLED screen, whereas the Pro model ups the ante with a 6.83-inch OLED panel. Both come with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, protected by Oppo’s own Crystal Shield Glass for durability.
Photography enthusiasts will find plenty to like as well. The Reno 14 Pro is rumored to house a quad-camera setup with four 50-megapixel sensors, including a main camera with optical image stabilization, an ultra-wide lens, a periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, and a dedicated sensor for portraits or depth effects. The base Reno 14 features a triple camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. Both models will carry a 50MP front camera.
Battery life is also expected to be impressive. The Reno 14 packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging, while the Pro version will come with a 6,200mAh battery supporting 50W wireless charging via Oppo’s AIRVOOC technology.
Pricing and Availability
While Oppo has not confirmed the Indian pricing yet, the China launch prices provide a reasonable benchmark. The Reno 14 starts at around CNY 2,799 (₹33,200), and the Reno 14 Pro begins at CNY 3,499 (₹41,500). Given that the previous Reno 13 series launched in India with prices starting at ₹39,999 and ₹49,999 for the Pro, it’s expected that the new series will be priced similarly, possibly with a slight increase.
