Samsung Galaxy S6 Ultra Price In India, Full Specs, Camera Upgrades And What To Expect

July 9, 2025: Samsung Galaxy S6 Ultra – Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is already creating buzz months ahead of its anticipated early 2026 launch, with leaked details hinting at significant upgrades in performance, design, and camera technology.

While the overall structure may closely resemble its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the new model promises meaningful enhancements under the hood and subtle refinements to its premium form factor.

Refined Display and Sleeker Design

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly retain its expansive 6.9-inch display, but users can expect thinner bezels for a more immersive screen experience. Samsung is said to be increasing the screen-to-body ratio, further refining what’s already one of the most admired displays in the smartphone market.

Design-wise, the device is expected to keep its sleek silhouette, with minor changes to the rear camera module—possibly removing raised camera rings for a smoother, unified look. Contrary to earlier speculation, Samsung will retain both the S Pen and the digitizer, keeping its stylus-equipped Ultra model intact for productivity-focused users.

Powerful Internals and Larger Cooling System

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to feature a larger vapor chamber cooling system, about 1.2 times the size of that in the S25 Ultra. This improvement is geared toward better thermal management, allowing for enhanced battery life and sustained performance during gaming and multitasking.

Samsung is reportedly equipping all storage variants—256GB, 512GB, and 1TB—with 16GB of RAM, ensuring high-speed multitasking and seamless app usage even on the base model.

Camera Upgrades: More Than Just Megapixels

One of the most anticipated changes is the revamped camera setup. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a powerful 200MP ISOCELL HP2 main sensor, with an upgraded lens for better image sharpness and low-light performance.

Other leaked camera specs include:

  • 50MP ultra-wide lens
  • 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom
  • Upgraded 12MP telephoto lens (up from 10MP)
  • Laser autofocus system for enhanced low-light focusing
  • An improved ProVisual Engine for advanced image processing

While the front camera details remain under wraps, industry insiders expect Samsung to bring meaningful improvements here as well.

Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chip to Power Global Units

Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process. Unlike previous years, Samsung is expected to skip the Exynos version entirely, delivering consistent performance across global markets.

Samsung also appears to have shelved plans to introduce its in-house 2nm chip with this model. Instead, an overclocked “For Galaxy” version of the Snapdragon chip will be used, offering elite-level performance for gaming, photography, and multitasking.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be priced at ₹1,59,990 in India, placing it firmly in the premium flagship segment. With top-tier hardware, productivity features, and camera upgrades, it’s clearly aimed at tech enthusiasts and professionals looking for a future-ready device.

As the launch approaches, more concrete details are expected to emerge, including software improvements and battery upgrades. For now, the Galaxy S26 Ultra looks to continue Samsung’s tradition of setting the benchmark in Android innovation.
