Angelina Jolie Accused of Influencing Children Against Brad Pitt

Published:

In the ongoing legal turmoil between Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, fresh allegations have surfaced, suggesting that Jolie may have steered her children away from spending time with their father during visits.

These claims emerged from court documents filed by Tony Webb, a former security guard who worked for the celebrity couple. According to People magazine, Webb alleged that he was contacted by a Jolie aide named Michael Vieira, who attempted to dissuade two bodyguards from testifying in Jolie’s custody battle with Pitt.

Webb’s statement detailed Vieira’s efforts to prevent the bodyguards from testifying, citing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) they had signed with Jolie. Despite these NDAs, one of the bodyguards, Ross Foster, expressed his intention to testify about statements he allegedly overheard from Jolie, wherein she purportedly encouraged the children to avoid spending time with Pitt during custody visits.

In response, Paul Murphy, an attorney representing Angelina Jolie, dismissed Pitt’s attempts to equate NDAs with concealing his actions. Murphy emphasized Jolie’s pursuit of separation and family well-being, portraying the case as a matter of power and control.

Pitt’s legal team, however, submitted Webb’s declaration to counter Jolie’s objections to signing NDAs, citing her past use of such agreements in their legal dispute over the French winery, Chateau Miraval.

The ongoing legal battle between Jolie and Pitt has seen a volley of accusations and counter-accusations. Pitt’s lawyers accused Jolie of diverting attention from the business dispute to family court matters, while Jolie’s legal team implied that Pitt was apprehensive about sealed documents related to their custody battle being made public.

The allegations of Jolie purportedly influencing the children to avoid Pitt during visits add further complexity to the contentious legal saga between the former Hollywood power couple.
