October 14, 2024: Cinephiles are in for a thrilling Diwali treat as two major Bollywood franchises, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again, gear up for a box office showdown on November 1. Both films have already made headlines with record-breaking non-theatrical deals, setting the stage for a grand competition even before their theatrical release.

In a career milestone for Kartik Aaryan, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has secured a staggering non-theatrical deal worth ₹135 crores, including digital, satellite, and music rights. This marks the biggest non-theatrical deal in the horror-comedy franchise’s history and is the actor’s personal best. The return of Kartik Aaryan as Rooh Baba, alongside Vidya Balan reprising her iconic role as Manjulika from the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa, has only heightened fans’ excitement. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film also features Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in significant roles.
On the other hand, Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn and directed by Rohit Shetty, has outpaced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in the non-theatrical race, with an enormous deal worth ₹200 crores. This includes rights across digital platforms, satellite, and music, marking a career high for both Ajay Devgn and Shetty. Singham Again is the latest instalment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, which includes Singham, Sooryavanshi, and Simmba. The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Additionally, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh will make special appearances, further connecting the films in the Cop Universe.
