India’s pride soared high as shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh clinched the Bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the Paris Olympics. This historic achievement marked Manu Bhaker as the first Indian shooter to win two medals at the same Olympics.
Actor Anil Kapoor couldn’t contain his excitement and extended his congratulations to the duo. Taking to his Instagram story, Kapoor re-shared the Indian Olympic Association’s post and wrote, “Another win for India!! Congratulations!!”
Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh’s stellar performance saw them secure a bronze in the mixed team event after defeating South Korea’s Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin with a score of 16-10. Earlier, Bhaker had already made history by winning a bronze medal in the women’s individual 10m Air Pistol event.
Their remarkable feat has not only elevated India’s medal tally but also set a new benchmark in Indian shooting sports, inspiring future generations.
