Arshdeep, now with 92 wickets in 59 innings at an economy rate of 8.34 and an average of 18.47, surpassed Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar to reach this milestone and is just four wickets away from overtaking Yuzvendra Chahal as India’s all-time T20I wicket leader.

Recapping the match, South Africa won the toss and chose to field. For India, Abhishek Sharma (50 off 25) and Tilak Varma (107* off 56) powered India to a strong total of 219/6 with their remarkable partnership. Although other Indian batters struggled to make an impact, Sharma and Varma’s efforts set a challenging target.
On the South African side, Andile Simelane and Keshav Maharaj each took two wickets, leading their bowling attack.
During the chase, Heinrich Klaasen (41 off 22) and Marco Jansen (54 off 17) kept the Proteas in the hunt with explosive knocks.
