Cricket’s Fiercest Rivalry Set to Ignite the UAE. Get Ready for India’s Full Schedule in the Highly Anticipated Tournament
July 27, 2025: The ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 will officially take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host the tournament, but because of ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, the two countries have agreed to play all of their matches at neutral locations until 2027. This makes the UAE the perfect place for this important competition.
The dates for the 2025 Asia Cup have been set: India and Pakistan will play on September 14 in the UAE!
The dates were officially announced on “X” (previously Twitter) by Mohsin Naqvi, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the ACC President. He said he was looking forward to a “spectacular display of cricket.”
Eight countries will compete in this year’s Asia Cup, up from six last year. This makes it the biggest event so far. It will be played in the T20 format, which is a very important practice for the T20 World Cup that will be held in India and Sri Lanka next year.
India, the defending champions after beating Sri Lanka in the 2023 final, plays in Group A with their biggest rivals, Pakistan, the UAE, and Oman. They will start their campaign against the UAE on September 10. The long-awaited match between India and Pakistan will take place on September 14. India will finish their group stage games against Oman on September 19.
