Asian Champions Trophy : India Secures Hard-Fought 1-0 Victory Over China To Retain Title

India successfully lifted their fifth Men’s Asian Champions Trophy with a tense 1-0 victory over host nation China.

The win, which followed titles in 2011, 2016, 2018, and 2023, showcased India’s resilience and continued dominance under coach Craig Fulton’s leadership, affectionately dubbed “Fultonball.”

China’s strong defensive play tested India’s mettle throughout the match. Early nerves for India allowed China to press, but they couldn’t capitalize. China’s last push was hampered by their goalkeeper being sent off, and India held on to clinch the trophy.
