Support from Fans Balances Criticism

Despite the backlash, Diljit’s loyal fanbase rallied to defend him. One fan remarked, “The music is great and fun. A Busy Year for Diljit

The song’s release comes just a month after Diljit concluded his highly successful Dil-Luminati India Tour, which saw him perform in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. The tour ended with a special last-minute show in Ludhiana on December 31, 2024.

Upcoming Film Projects

Fans have plenty to look forward to as Diljit gears up for multiple film releases, including Border 2, co-starring Varun Dhawan, Sunny Deol, and Ahan Shetty. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is set to release on January 23, 2026. Another much-awaited project is Panjab ’95, a biographical drama based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. Although initially scheduled for February 7, its release has been delayed. The film, featuring Arjun Rampal and Suvinder Vicky, sheds light on Khalra’s investigations into human rights abuses in Punjab.
