Nagpur (Maharashtra), February 6: Ahead of the highly anticipated three-match ODI series against England, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday unveiled Team India’s new ODI jersey for the 50-over format.
Taking to social media platform X, the BCCI shared images of top Indian cricketers proudly donning the fresh tri-colour-themed jersey. Among those featured in the pictures were Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Harshit Rana, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, and Varun Chakravarthy.
The players looked enthusiastic and confident as they showcased the new jersey design, which features a tri-colour gradient on the shoulder blades, symbolizing the pride of Indian cricket.
The first match of the three-ODI series between India and England will take place at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday.
The action will then shift to Barabati Stadium in Cuttack for the second ODI on Sunday, followed by the final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 12.
The squad for the England series remains unchanged from the ICC Champions Trophy squad, with only one alteration—Varun Chakravarthy replacing Jasprit Bumrah.
