Big Breaking: 7 Pakistan-Backed Terrorists Killed While Infiltrating Into Jammu’s Samba Sector

BSF foils major infiltration attempt along the International Border as tensions with Pakistan escalate under Operation Sindoor.

May 9, 2025: In a significant security development, seven heavily armed terrorists supported by Pakistan Rangers were shot dead by the Border Security Force (BSF) late Thursday night while attempting to infiltrate into the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident comes amid heightened border tensions following India’s ongoing military operations under Operation Sindoor.

According to official sources, BSF personnel detected suspicious movement along the International Border and immediately launched a counter-infiltration operation. A fierce gunfight ensued, resulting in the elimination of all seven infiltrators before they could breach Indian territory.

The BSF confirmed that the terrorists were receiving cover fire and tactical support from the Pakistan Rangers, highlighting the direct involvement of Pakistani forces in the failed infiltration bid.

The foiled attempt is the latest in a series of escalatory actions along the western border, including missile and drone attacks from Pakistan and retaliatory precision strikes by Indian forces. Security agencies remain on high alert across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan, with multiple blackouts and siren alerts reported in border districts.

The BSF and Army have stepped up surveillance and patrols along vulnerable points of the border to prevent further infiltration attempts.
