BIG BREAKING! Riots in U.S.’s Portland: ICE Facility Breached in Violent Riot; Officers Injured by Fireworks, Explosives and Grenades

Rioters attack ICE building in Portland with explosives, rocks, and smoke grenades; four officers injured as facility briefly overrun before federal forces regain control.

Portland, Oregon – June 15, 2025:
A night of chaos unfolded in Portland as violent rioters targeted an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility, breaching its perimeter with fireworks, rocks, and smoke grenades, according to officials from the Department of Homeland Security.

The attack left four federal officers injured and resulted in property damage after rioters smashed windows and forced their way into the building, Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital.

Green smoke and the sound of fireworks were seen and heard near the ICE building as police declared an unlawful assembly. Videos circulating on social media showed intense confrontations between protesters and law enforcement, with smoke clouding the facility’s surroundings.

Law enforcement was eventually able to secure the premises, despite sustained assaults. The injured officers received medical attention, but their conditions remain undisclosed. No immediate reports of arrests or detentions have been issued as of Sunday morning.

In addition to the physical breach, protesters were reportedly doxxing ICE officers, spreading their personal information online and around the city — a tactic meant to intimidate and endanger law enforcement.

The latest riot is part of a growing trend of anti-ICE demonstrations in the Pacific Northwest, where immigration enforcement remains a polarizing issue. Saturday night’s violence follows previous tensions over federal immigration policies and border control enforcement under President Donald Trump’s administration.

Authorities have not released the exact number of protesters involved but called the incident “coordinated and aggressive,” with several protestors masked and equipped with pyrotechnics and tactical gear.

Federal investigators are expected to launch a full probe into the breach, including assessing the security vulnerabilities that allowed rioters to force entry into a protected federal building.
