Breaking! Elon Musk Says Trump Must be Impeached, Claims “Trump Is in the Epstein Files”

In a fiery public feud, Elon Musk has called for the impeachment of President Donald Trump and claimed that the President’s name appears in the classified Epstein investigation files — a reason, he suggested, they remain unreleased.
The clash between the two former allies intensified after Trump criticized Musk at a press conference for opposing the administration’s widely debated “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Responding with fury, Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“Time to drop the really big bomb: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO followed up by endorsing a post demanding Trump’s impeachment and supporting Vice President JD Vance as a replacement.
Once staunch allies, Musk and Trump had developed a close relationship over the past year, with Musk reportedly contributing hundreds of millions to Trump’s re-election campaign. But tensions flared over the passage of the legislative bill that Musk argues will cripple the EV sector, including Tesla.
Trump said during the briefing:
“Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will any more.”
Musk swiftly replied:
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House, and Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate… Such ingratitude.”
The collapse of their relationship has been fast and dramatic. As Tesla’s stock took a hit post-bill, Musk launched multiple online attacks against the administration, culminating in the Epstein allegation.
Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier, was charged with sex trafficking and exploitation of minors before dying by suicide in prison in 2019. The “Epstein files” refer to documents from his investigation — including flight logs, contact lists, videos, and testimonies. While some portions were made public, many remain sealed.
A February 2025 DOJ document acknowledged that Trump, along with several other celebrities including Michael Jackson, Alec Baldwin, and Harvey Weinstein, were on Epstein’s contact list. However, the nature of these connections has not been officially disclosed.
Musk’s claim that Trump is explicitly implicated in the files remains unverified. No additional evidence accompanied his post, though he insisted,
“Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
This revelation—if substantiated—could have severe political implications. For now, it marks the most personal and explosive accusation in the ongoing feud between two of the world’s most high-profile and polarizing figures.
The White House has not responded to Musk’s claims as of this writing.
