June 22, 2025: Ramen noodles have long been a go-to snack for people living alone, working late, or simply craving a quick bite. But a new viral video has sparked concern among fans of the popular instant meal. The video, posted on Instagram by a user with the handle omggotworms, has left the internet stunned after showing a cancer warning on the back of a ramen noodle packet.

The label, printed in small text, reads: “Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm.” In the video, the user flips over several packets to highlight the caution label, expressing disbelief in the caption:
“Wait… Ramen noodles come with this warning? Cancer + reproductive harm?? Read the labels carefully.”

One commenter said, “Nearly everything we eat can do damage if consumed in excess. I’ve had it maybe 6 times a year. I would eat it more, but it’s too spicy.”
Another added, “It doesn’t even feel healthy when you eat it. Why not just go for spaghetti instead?”

The warning label aligns with California’s Proposition 65, which requires companies to provide warnings about significant exposures to chemicals that can cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

The video has reignited the debate about the safety of processed convenience foods, urging consumers to read packaging labels more carefully.
