Sudhashree, a Dubai resident, shared her experience: “I anticipated a long queue, but the speed at which tickets vanished was shocking. By the time I secured my place, only two categories remained, both beyond my budget.”
The Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with a seating capacity of 25,000, is set to host this marquee clash. The demand for tickets underscores the immense popularity and significance of the India-Pakistan rivalry in world cricket.
As the captain of the host nation, Babar Azam will be pivotal in Pakistan’s campaign. The team is eager to replicate the glory of their 2017 Champions Trophy triumph, the last ICC event Pakistan won. With the tournament being held on a hybrid model, Pakistan will aim to impress on home soil and at neutral venues in the UAE.
