
ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule Announced: Key Dates, Teams, and Venues Revealed
February 10, 2025: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 marks the much-anticipated return of one of cricket’s most celebrated tournaments after an eight-year hiatus. Running from February 19 to March 9, the event promises three weeks of action-packed matches between the top eight ODI teams.

The tournament will be hosted by Pakistan, with matches played across Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. However, due to security concerns, India will play all its matches, including a potential semi-final and final, in Dubai under a hybrid hosting model.

This edition features a condensed, high-stakes format, with teams divided into two groups:
The tournament kicks off on February 19 with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi. One of the most awaited matches, the India vs Pakistan clash, will take place on February 23 in Dubai. Semi-finals will follow on March 4 and 5, with the grand finale scheduled for March 9.

India, placed in Group A, will begin their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai. Their group-stage fixtures are as follows:
The ICC has opened registrations for ticket updates. Fans can register via the ICC website by providing their details to receive alerts when tickets go on sale. Group stage tickets will be available first, while tickets for the final will depend on India’s qualification.
All matches will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. Matches will begin at 2:30 pm IST (2 pm Pakistan time).
This will be the first multinational cricket tournament hosted by Pakistan since the 2009 terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team. The tournament also sees Afghanistan making its debut in the Champions Trophy, while Sri Lanka has failed to qualify for the first time.
