The PCB has assured the ICC that it has secured all necessary clearances to issue visas to all players, officials, and captains, including Rohit Sharma and the Indian team delegation. A PCB source said, “This includes Rohit or any other Indian team player, official, or board representative.”
India has opted not to travel to Pakistan, citing security concerns, and will play its matches in Dubai, starting with a clash against Bangladesh on February 20. Despite this, the PCB has emphasized that the opening ceremony will take place in Pakistan, involving all eight participating teams and their captains, in line with traditional protocols.

With the PCB and ICC coordinating logistics, the Champions Trophy promises to be a significant cricketing spectacle despite geopolitical tensions.
