Delhi Weather Today 13 june 2025

June 13, 2025: As of 2:00 PM IST on Friday, Delhi is experiencing intense heat, with a current temperature of 40°C (104°F). The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the day, forecasting thunderstorms and evening rain, which may provide some relief from the ongoing heatwave.

Earlier this week, Delhi recorded its highest heat index of the season at 54.4°C (129.9°F), combining high temperatures and humidity levels. The actual maximum temperature at Safdarjung was 43.9°C, the highest recorded so far this season, with humidity levels between 39% and 73%, significantly worsening the heat’s impact.

Northwest India, including parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh, also faced severe heatwave conditions, which are expected to persist until June 13. Notably, the Mungeshpur station in northwest Delhi recorded a heatwave temperature of 45.2°C.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and monitor official weather updates for any changes in conditions.
