Trump Demands Netanyahu’s Trial Be Cancelled Immediately, Calls It a ‘Witch Hunt’ Amid Israeli Wartime Victory
June 13, 2025: Former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a dire warning to Iran just hours after Israeli airstrikes reportedly killed several of the Islamic Republic’s top military leaders. In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump called on Iran to strike a deal urgently, claiming the alternative would be “much worse than anything they know.”
“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal,” Trump wrote. “I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told… They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!”
Trump boasted of America’s military might and Israel’s access to “the best and most lethal equipment,” urging Iran to “just do it” and avoid further destruction.
Trump’s statement came in response to Operation Rising Lion, a large-scale Israeli military campaign launched Friday. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), more than 200 fighter jets struck deep within Iranian territory, killing several high-ranking Iranian military officials, including:
“These are three ruthless mass murderers with international blood on their hands,” said the IDF. “The world is a better place without them.”

In a dramatic address, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation was launched to counter an “existential threat” posed by Iran’s growing nuclear and ballistic capabilities.
“In recent years, Iran has produced enough highly enriched uranium for nine atomic bombs,” Netanyahu warned. “We struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear enrichment and weaponization programmes.”
He said Israeli forces targeted Iran’s primary nuclear facility at Natanz, leading nuclear scientists, and ballistic missile development sites.
Netanyahu likened the Iranian threat to the Nazi regime in the lead-up to World War II.
“Eighty years ago, the Jewish people were the victims of a Holocaust. Today, the Jewish state refuses to be a victim of a nuclear Holocaust perpetrated by the Iranian regime,” he said.
He added that Iran’s regional strategy of encirclement via proxies—including Hamas, Hezbollah, and militias in Syria and Yemen—was now being dismantled by Israeli force.
Trump’s comments have reignited debate over his foreign policy stance toward Iran. While his administration imposed maximum pressure sanctions and assassinated IRGC commander Qasem Soleimani in 2020, he also left the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA), escalating tensions with Tehran.
Now, with his statement following the Israeli strike, Trump appeared to lend strong support to Netanyahu’s aggressive posture—framing it as a final warning to Iran.
“Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left,” Trump wrote. “No more death, no more destruction—JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.”
A federal response from the Biden administration remains pending, but the international community is bracing for escalation. With three of Iran’s top military figures reportedly killed, and Israel openly admitting to direct strikes within Iran’s borders, the situation threatens to spiral into full-scale conflict across the region.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu extended a rare olive branch to the people of Iran, saying: “Our fight is not with you… the day of your liberation is near.”
