England Players Significant Improvements In The Latest ICC Women’s ODI Rankings

England’s women cricketers have certainly made a strong impression in their series against Ireland, with notable advancements in the ICC Women’s ODI rankings. Their performances in the ongoing 50-over series have been exceptional.

  • Tammy Beaumont: Her scintillating unbeaten 150 in the second ODI has catapulted her to 13th in the ODI Women’s batter rankings. Beaumont now holds the record for the third most centuries in women’s ODI cricket, showcasing her impressive consistency and skill.

  • Kate Cross: With a stunning six-wicket haul in the series opener, Cross has ascended to the second spot in the ODI Women’s bowlers’ rankings. Her rating surged from 686 to 703 points, narrowing the gap between her and the top-ranked Sophie Ecclestone.
  • Lauren Filer: The young seamer has made significant progress, climbing 14 places to 60th in the ODI bowlers’ rankings.

The final ODI is set to be played at Stormont in Belfast, where England will look to complete a clean sweep and continue their strong performances in the series.
