Following India’s targeted strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, multiple loud explosions and red projectiles triggered fear and blackouts across Jammu.

Jammu, May 8:
A series of loud explosions sent waves of panic through Jammu on Thursday evening, a day after India executed precision missile strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor. The exact cause of the explosions remains unconfirmed, but preliminary reports suggest possible shelling or aerial activity.

“Complete blackout in Jammu. Loud explosions—bombing, shelling, or missile strikes suspected. Fret not—Mata Vaishno Devi is with us, and so are the valiant Indian Armed Forces.”

There has been no official statement yet from the Ministry of Defence or local administration regarding the source or intent of the incident. Security forces are reportedly assessing the situation.

The fresh tension comes amid escalating hostilities following India’s retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 civilians were killed.
