Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated Don 3 has been making headlines after a series of cast exits. Following Ranveer Singh, Kiara Advani, and Vikrant Massey stepping away from the project, sources reveal that the filmmaker is now eyeing Rajat Bedi to fill Vikrant Massey’s role.

The 51-year-old actor, known for Koi Mil Gaya (2003) and recently praised for his performance in The Ba**ds of Bollywood* (2025), is reportedly in talks with the makers for a pivotal part in the franchise. A close source shared, “Farhan is considering Rajat Bedi to play a pivotal part for which Vikrant was roped in originally. The actor-producer have done an official conversation and the two are planning to meet around mid of January at their Khar office in Mumbai.”

Earlier reports indicated that Vikrant Massey left the film due to a lack of depth in his character and the need for a transformation. Other names like Aditya Roy Kapur and Vijay Deverakonda were also rumored for the role, but nothing has been officially confirmed.

The upcoming meeting between Farhan and Rajat in mid-January could pave the way for the actor’s entry into the celebrated franchise, marking an exciting new chapter for Don 3.
