Full Schedule for Indian Athletes at Paris Olympics on Day 12

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat is set to compete against the United States’ Sarah Ann Hildebrandt in the final of the women’s 50kg wrestling category at the Paris Olympics.

Vinesh secured her spot in the final after a dominant 5-0 victory over Cuba’s Yusneylis Guzman Lopez in the semi-finals. This achievement marks Vinesh as the first Indian woman to reach the Olympic final in wrestling.

Phogat’s final match against Hildebrandt is scheduled for 12:30 AM IST on Thursday.

India’s Avinash Sable will also be competing on Thursday, participating in the 3000 Metre Steeplechase final, starting at 1:13 AM IST. Sable earned his place in the final after clocking 8:15.43s to finish fifth in the qualification round, behind Morocco’s Mohamed Tindouft, Ethiopia’s Samuel Firewu, Kenya’s Abraham Kibiwot, and Japan’s Ryuji Miura.

• 11:00 AM IST: Priyanka and Suraj Panwar in the Marathon Race Walk Mixed Relay Final.
• 12:30 PM IST: Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar in Round 1 of the Women’s Individual Stroke Play (Golf).
• 1:30 PM IST: Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, and Archana Kamath vs. Germany in the Women’s Team event quarterfinals (Table Tennis).
• 1:35 PM IST: Sarvesh Anil Kushare in Men’s High Jump qualification.
• 1:55 PM IST: Annu Rani in Women’s Javelin Throw qualification.
• 3:00 PM IST: Wrestler Antim Panghal in the Round of 16 in the Women’s Freestyle 53 KG category. If she progresses, she will compete in the quarterfinals at 4:20 PM IST and the semifinals at 10:25 PM IST. The bronze medal and final matches for this category are scheduled for 12:20 and 12:30 AM IST, respectively (Thursday).
• 11:00 PM IST: Mirabai Chanu in the Women’s 49 KG Weightlifting category.
• 12:30 AM IST (Thursday): Vinesh Phogat in the Women’s 50kg wrestling final.
