God Is Real! Claims Harvard Scientist, Presents Mathematical Formula as Proof
March 8, 2025: Harvard Scientist Claims God Is Real, Cites Mathematical Formula as Evidence
Dr. Willie Soon argues that cosmic constants are too precise to be random, supporting the existence of a divine creator. In a bold and controversial claim, Dr. Willie Soon, an astrophysicist and aerospace engineer affiliated with Harvard and the Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, has suggested that a mathematical formula could serve as proof of God’s existence.
Speaking on Tucker Carlson’s podcast, Dr. Soon referred to the fine-tuning argument, which proposes that the laws of physics are so precisely calibrated for life that it is statistically improbable they arose by mere chance.

Dr. Soon’s argument is based on a concept first proposed by Cambridge mathematician Paul Dirac, who observed that certain cosmic constants align with remarkable precision. This alignment has been a long-standing mystery in physics.
Dirac, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, famously wrote in 1963:
“It seems to be one of the fundamental features of nature that fundamental physical laws are described in terms of mathematical theory of great beauty and power… One could perhaps describe the situation by saying that God is a mathematician of a very high order, and He used very advanced mathematics in constructing the universe.”
Dr. Soon echoed this sentiment, stating:
“There are so many examples of the ever-present forces that allow us to illuminate our lives. God has given us this light, to follow the light and do the best that we can.”
His remarks suggest that the equations governing the universe may be seen as “the fingerprints of a divine creator.”
The idea of linking science and religion has long been a topic of debate, with many physicists and scientists refraining from making direct connections between the two.
One of the most outspoken figures on this topic was Stephen Hawking, who expressed a more skeptical view of divine existence.
In his final book, Brief Answers to the Big Questions, Hawking wrote:
“If you believe in science, like I do, you believe that there are certain laws that are always obeyed. If you like, you can say the laws are the work of God, but that is more a definition of God than a proof of his existence.”
Hawking also dismissed the concept of an afterlife, stating:
“We are each free to believe what we want, and it’s my view that the simplest explanation is there is no God. No one created the universe, and no one directs our fate. This leads me to a profound realization: there’s probably no heaven and no afterlife, either.”
Dr. Soon’s assertion that mathematics serves as evidence for God’s existence has reignited discussions on faith, science, and the origins of the universe.
While some scientists argue that mathematical precision hints at intelligent design, others maintain that natural laws simply exist and do not require divine explanation.
As the debate over the intersection of physics, mathematics, and theology continues, Dr. Soon’s claims add another perspective to an age-old question—does the universe’s structure imply the existence of a higher power?
