Balochistan: Gunmen Offload Bus Passengers, Kill Nine in Cold Blood
July 11, 2025: According to authorities, nine bus passengers were killed after they were abducted by gunmen in the unrest-plagued southwest Pakistani province of Balochistan.
Shahid Rind, a spokesman for the province government, said on Friday that the passengers were removed from multiple buses on Thursday night. The bus was on its way to Punjab’s center region from Balochistan. According to officials, it is believed that the travelers were singled out because they were Punjabi.
According to Naveed Alam, another government official, the victims’ bodies, which were covered with gunshot wounds, were discovered in the highlands during the night.
Both Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vehemently denounced the murders and verified the incident. “Innocent people’s blood will be retributed.” India-sponsored terrorists are openly engaging in terrorism by killing innocent people, Sharif declared.
India did not immediately respond to his statement. As of yet, no one has taken credit for the assault.
