“I Enjoy Battles With Siraj..” : Marnus Labuschagne Lauds Indian Pacer Siraj

Ahead of the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne opened up about his excitement facing Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj.

Labuschagne, reminisced about his first encounter with Siraj back in 2015-16 at the MRF Academy, where they both were honing their skills. Labuschagne reflected on how both players have evolved since then, praising Siraj for his passion, energy, and love for the game.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy series between India and Australia will commence on November 22, 2024, with the first Test taking place in Perth. The competition will feature some of the most anticipated matchups in cricket, including Siraj against Labuschagne.

Australia is looking to regain the trophy after India’s dominance in the past four series, including two remarkable victories on Australian soil in 2018-19 and 2020-21.

The series promises to be an exciting contest, featuring day-night and Boxing Day Tests, with the final match scheduled at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3 to 7, 2025.
