IAF Chetak Helicopter makes emergency landing near Prayagraj, technical glitch suspected

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India]: An Indian Air Force (IAF) Chetak helicopter on a routine training mission made a safe precautionary landing at Holagadh near Prayagraj at 10:40 AM on Saturday due to technical glitch, officials said.

The helicopter was flown back to the base after providing necessary technical assistance.
The IAF has not released any further details about the incident.

Earlier, an Indian Air Force (IAF) Advanced Light Helicopter, Dhruv made a precautionary landing near Bhopal due to a technical glitch.

The incident took place when the helicopter was on a routine training mission. The pilot noticed the technical glitch and decided to make a precautionary landing in an open field near Bhopal. There were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident.
