ICC World Test Championship Final Is Scheduled To Be Held At Lord’s, Dates Announced

The ICC World Test Championship final is set to take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London from June 11 to June 15, 2025, with June 16 reserved as a backup day if necessary. This will be the first time Lord’s hosts the final, following previous editions held in Southampton and The Oval.

The match will feature the top two teams from the standings at the end of the current championship cycle. Currently, India, led by Rohit Sharma, is in the leading position, closely followed by reigning champions Australia. Other teams, including New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Bangladesh, are still in contention for a spot in the final.

ICC CEO Geoff Allardice highlighted the excitement surrounding the event, stating that the World Test Championship Final has quickly become a highly anticipated fixture in the cricket calendar, emphasizing the continued global appeal of Test cricket. Fans interested in attending are encouraged to register for ticket availability, as demand is expected to be high.
