Tel Aviv [Israel], March 7Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have uncovered and destroyed a massive weapons depot and multiple explosive laboratories used for terror activity, the army announced on Thursday.

The operation, part of an ongoing counterterrorism campaign, led to the discovery of:

  • 100 pipe bombs
  • Eight larger bombs
  • An advanced explosives activation system
  • Terrorist infrastructure spread across multiple buildings

Israeli troops demolished several structures used for manufacturing explosives and drones.

Escalation of IDF Operations in the West Bank

The counterterror operations began in Jenin on January 19 and have since expanded to Tulkarem and Samaria’s “Five Villages” area.

The raids follow the Palestinian Authority’s failed attempt to crack down on terror activity in the Jenin refugee camp earlier this year.

Since Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel, the IDF has arrested 6,000 wanted Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, with approximately 40% linked to Hamas.

The Israeli military remains on high alert, citing an ongoing security threat from terror networks operating in the region.

A Continued Crackdown on Terrorism

With weapons stockpiles and bomb-making facilities being dismantled, Israel’s counterterrorism operations remain a top priority to prevent future attacks.

  • Will more raids expand into other Palestinian cities?
  • How will militant groups respond to IDF’s intensified operations?
  • What role will international diplomacy play in stabilizing the region?

As tensions remain high, security forces are committed to eliminating threats before they materialize into attacks.
