IDF Neutralizes Hezbollah Operatives Violating Ceasefire Near Southern Lebanon Church
Jerusalem [Israel], December 2: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported conducting operations over the past day in southern Lebanon to eliminate Hezbollah terror threats that violated ceasefire conditions. On Saturday, IDF troops identified and neutralized several armed terrorists near a church actively used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
According to the IDF, these terrorists, who belonged to Hezbollah’s Khiam ground defense, anti-tank missile, and artillery units, fired upon Israeli forces from within the church. In response, IDF troops engaged and successfully eliminated the operatives.
After neutralizing the threat, IDF forces searched the church premises and discovered a tunnel shaft containing weapons, further confirming its use by Hezbollah for hostile activities.
The operation underscores escalating tensions in the region as Israel continues to counter perceived threats from Hezbollah while maintaining adherence to security protocols and the protection of its citizens.
