India’s chase was off to a strong start, with Rohit (52* off 32) and Shubman Gill (20* off 25) cruising against England’s bowling attack. Earlier, England posted a competitive 304 all-out, powered by contributions from Ben Duckett (65 off 56), Joe Root (69 off 72), and a brisk cameo from Liam Livingstone (41 off 32). Ravindra Jadeja starred with the ball for India, claiming 3/35 in his 10-over spell.

The match had its fair share of drama, including a floodlight issue that caused a brief interruption. The generator powering the floodlights malfunctioned, but quick repairs allowed the game to resume.

India made two changes to their lineup, bringing in Virat Kohli and Varun Chakravarthy for Yashasvi Jaiswal and Kuldeep Yadav. Kohli, looking to make an impact after a quiet series opener, was not required to bat early as the openers laid a solid foundation.

The stage is set for an enthralling finish as India eyes a series win, and England fights to stay alive in the three-match series.
