Operation Sindoor: A Targeted Response

India’s Operation Sindoor involved 24 precision missiles targeting terrorist training centres in Pakistan and PoK, including locations in Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bhimber. Officials maintain that no Pakistani military installations were attacked, only terror infrastructure linked to banned outfits.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri reiterated that the strikes were “measured, non-escalatory, proportionate, and responsible.”

Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has termed the strikes an “act of war” and vowed a “befitting reply,” increasing the prospect of further escalation.
