India Sends Strong Anti-Terror Message to Qatar Through All-Party Delegation Visit

May 25, 2025: An all-party parliamentary delegation from India is currently in Doha to reinforce the nation’s firm stand on counter-terrorism and to strengthen bilateral relations with Qatar as part of Operation Sindoor. The visit sends a clear diplomatic message: India has zero tolerance for terrorism in any form.

The delegation began their visit by paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and held key discussions at the Indian Embassy in Doha with Indian Ambassador Vipul. Speaking on the importance of the visit, Ambassador Vipul said, “Qatar is a historic and strategic partner for India. Our focus is to enhance political, trade, energy, and counter-terrorism ties. The goal is to clearly convey that India will not accept terrorism in any form.”

He emphasized that the delegation will engage with high-level Qatari officials, media, academic institutions, and Indian community members to communicate India’s stance and bolster cooperation.

Highlighting Qatar’s support following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Ambassador Vipul noted, “Qatar condemned the attack and reaffirmed its opposition to terrorism. This visit will further deepen understanding and collaboration on this front.”

Led by NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule, the delegation includes prominent MPs such as Rajiv Pratap Rudy (BJP), Vikramjit Singh Sahney (AAP), Manish Tewari (Congress), Anurag Singh Thakur (BJP), and Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin, among others.

The group will continue their mission to Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Africa, promoting India’s diplomatic campaign to combat global terrorism while also strengthening ties in trade, investment, and energy.
