The Indian Embassy in Bahrain shared updates from the visit, stating that both sides acknowledged the importance of close cooperation in tackling global terrorism and strengthening bilateral relations.

The delegation includes a cross-party representation: BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Satnam Singh Sandhu, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, and former Indian diplomat Harsh Shringla.

The team also met with Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, reaffirming India’s strong anti-terror stance and commitment to deepening diplomatic and strategic ties with Bahrain.

In addition to political meetings, the delegation visited Bab Al Bahrain, a historic landmark in Manama, and engaged with prominent members of Bahrain’s Indian diaspora and local community leaders. They praised their efforts in fostering bilateral goodwill.

This mission is part of India’s broader diplomatic outreach following Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7 in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Operation Sindoor marked a decisive military strike targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The current diplomatic initiative includes seven multi-party delegations, each led by a Member of Parliament. These delegations are touring key regions across the globe—including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Americas—to counter misinformation and highlight India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.

The campaign underscores India’s message to the world: unity at home and resolve abroad in the global fight against terrorism.
