Enhanced Tourism Experience

Previously, tourists had to rely on ferry services to travel between the Vivekananda Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar statue. With the introduction of the glass bridge, visitors can now enjoy a leisurely walk, soaking in panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean converging at the southernmost tip of India.

During the inauguration ceremony, MK Stalin walked across the bridge, sharing a breathtaking video of the experience on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

A Landmark for the Future

This glass bridge is not just an infrastructural development but a symbol of Tamil Nadu’s commitment to enhancing its tourism sector. The project is expected to attract both domestic and international tourists, further boosting the local economy and setting a benchmark for future tourism projects in India.

The glass bridge is now open to the public, promising an unforgettable experience for visitors while offering a seamless connection between two of Kanyakumari’s most iconic landmarks.
