iPhone 17 Pro Max Likely To Launch With A Higher Price Tag In September: Here’s All We Know So Far
July 10, 2025: Apple’s upcoming flagship, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, is shaping up to be one of the biggest upgrades in the iPhone lineup to date. With significant changes in design, hardware, and performance, Apple is reportedly pulling out all the stops — but it comes with a higher price tag than ever before.
According to early leaks, the iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB) variant is expected to be priced at around ₹1,64,999 in India. For comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max launched at ₹1,44,900 for the same storage capacity. This marks a ₹20,000 price jump, making it the most expensive Pro Max variant yet in India.
One of the key visual changes will be the new rectangular camera island, which is expected to replace the current diagonal layout. Additionally, the screen size could see a modest increase, enhancing media viewing and overall aesthetics.
Apple is also upgrading the front of the device with a 24MP front-facing camera, doubling the resolution from the 12MP sensor seen in previous generations. On the rear, expect to see a triple 48MP camera setup, pushing the boundaries of smartphone photography.
These features aim to place the iPhone 17 Pro Max firmly at the top of the premium smartphone segment. Apple enthusiasts can expect a more powerful, longer-lasting, and visually refined iPhone experience.
Apple is expected to officially unveil the iPhone 17 series in September 2025, following its traditional launch cycle.
