IPL 2025: CSK Win The Toss, Opt To Field First Against Rajasthan Royals

March 30, 2025: In an exciting IPL 2025 match, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and chose to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals (RR), led by Riyan Parag.

The decision to bowl first came as no surprise, with Gaikwad mentioning the expected dew factor later in the evening, which could make batting easier as the game progressed. Gaikwad also noted that the pitch was expected to offer some assistance to the bowlers early on, especially during the powerplay overs, making it a good choice to chase.

Riyan Parag, on the other hand, expressed confidence in his team’s batting lineup. He acknowledged the challenges of chasing but emphasized that his team was capable of setting a big target, and they would give it their best shot.

As the players took their positions, fans were eagerly anticipating the action, with both teams looking to register an important win in the tournament. With CSK’s strong bowling attack led by the experienced spinners and RR’s explosive top-order, this was shaping up to be an intense contest.
