Mitchell Starc’s brilliant final over and Tristan Stubbs’ ice-cool finish ensured DC clinched victory after both teams finished level at 188.

Needing 9 runs in the final over, RR seemed to have the upper hand, but Starc conceded only 8, forcing a Super Over. Batting first in the tie-breaker, Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer took strike for RR against Starc, managing 11 runs despite losing two wickets to run-outs.

In reply, KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs made light work of the target, sealing the win in just four balls off Sandeep Sharma.
