Kolkata, March 22 – The IPL 2025 season opener between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) kicked off with a grand celebration at Eden Gardens, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Disha Patani. The ceremony caused a slight delay in the toss, but fans were treated to on-stage dance moves by Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh, along with a special felicitation for Kohli, the only player to feature in all 18 IPL seasons with the same franchise.
