IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony: Shreya Ghoshal, Karan Aujla & Disha Patani Set to Ignite Eden Gardens!
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to begin with a glittering opening ceremony featuring performances by Shreya Ghoshal, Karan Aujla, and Disha Patani at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22.

🔹 Disha Patani: The Bollywood star will set the stage on fire with a high-voltage dance performance.
🏟️ Eden Gardens, home of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), will not only host the IPL 2025 opener but also the grand final on May 25.

🔹 March 22: The tournament kicks off with a clash between defending champions KKR and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
🔹 May 23: The venue will also host Qualifier 2, adding to the excitement of the playoffs.
🔹 May 25: After nearly a decade, the IPL final returns to Eden Gardens, last held here in 2013 and 2015.
The 18th edition of IPL will feature 74 matches over 65 days, including 12 double-headers.
🔹 March 23: A high-octane doubleheader awaits – Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals, followed by the legendary rivalry Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians at Chepauk.
🔹 May 20 & 21: Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will take place in Hyderabad, the home of 2024 runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Three teams will split their home games between two venues:
📍 Delhi Capitals: Visakhapatnam & Delhi
📍 Rajasthan Royals: Guwahati & Jaipur
📍 Punjab Kings: New Chandigarh & Dharamsala
📢 “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the TATA IPL 2025. The 18th edition of the prestigious tournament will commence on March 22, 2025, and the Final will be played on May 25, 2025,” IPL stated.
