The forecast includes thunderstorms with gusty winds, lightning, and moderate rainfall in the evening, which may impact the match proceedings.
The match is still scheduled to take place, but the delayed toss may affect the start time. The IPL allows for an extra hour of time extension, meaning a five-overs-a-side game must end by midnight. In case of a no-result, both teams will share one point each.
