Kaur highlighted the ambition and drive within the squad, asserting that they would leave no stone unturned in their quest to play a fearless brand of cricket. “Our expectation is straightforward: to bring glory to the country and our supporters, who back us unconditionally no matter where we play,” she noted in an ICC media release.

As they prepare for the tournament, Kaur expressed that every match leading up to the World Cup is an opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and inspire young cricketers worldwide. “It is our team’s dream to win this coveted trophy, and I believe we have what it takes to do so,” she said, reflecting on their previous close calls in the tournament, including reaching the final in 2020 and nearly making it again in 2023.

Kaur praised the camaraderie within the group, emphasizing the respect among players and the supportive environment fostered by the coaching staff. “Our preparations for this tournament began immediately after the last edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup concluded,” she said, highlighting their clear vision for success.
