Jennifer Lopez’s Wedding Planner Reveals Bruno Mars’ Astronomical Fees For A Wedding That Never happened!
December 28, 2024: Celebrity event planner Marcy Blum recently shared details about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s canceled wedding, including the jaw-dropping fee Bruno Mars quoted for a brief performance.
During her appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Marcy revealed that the “This Is Me” singer had considered having Bruno Mars perform at her wedding. However, Lopez was taken aback after learning that Mars charges a staggering $5 million for a 45-minute to one-hour performance.

“We were planning the wedding when Jennifer asked about Bruno Mars performing. I told her about my previous experience working with him at another wedding, where he charged $5 million,” Blum shared.
Jennifer reportedly responded with disbelief, saying, “Don’t be ridiculous.”
The Wedding That Never Was:
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, who started dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2019, had planned a lavish wedding in Italy in 2020. However, their plans were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the couple eventually called off their engagement in 2021.

A Rekindled Romance with Ben Affleck:
Following her split from Rodriguez, Lopez rekindled her romance with Ben Affleck, whom she had previously dated in the early 2000s. The two eloped in Las Vegas in 2022 and later had an elaborate wedding ceremony in Georgia.
However, their marriage also faced challenges, and Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences.
No NDA, No Secrets:
Blum also disclosed that she felt free to discuss the canceled wedding as she had never signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for the event.
While the wedding plans remain a chapter in celebrity history, Bruno Mars’ price tag for private performances has left fans and listeners equally astonished.
