Kangana Ranaut Launches ‘The Mountain Story’ Café in Manali: A Culinary Love Letter to the Himalayas

February 5, 2025: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is embarking on a new venture by entering the food and beverage industry with her café, The Mountain Story. Situated amidst the picturesque hills of Manali, the café is set to open its doors on February 14, 2025. Kangana took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of the café, giving fans a glimpse of its charming ambience and menu.

The video reveals a homely hill-style setup featuring wooden furniture and a cozy fireplace. The menu is a mix of traditional pahadi dishes, inspired by Kangana’s childhood meals, alongside modern favorites like pizza, pasta, salads, and cakes. With both indoor and outdoor seating, patrons can enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas while savoring their meals.

Sharing her excitement, Kangana wrote, “A childhood dream comes alive, my little café in the lap of Himalayas. The Mountain Story, it’s a love story. #TheMountainStory Opening 14th February.”

This is not the first time Kangana has expressed her interest in the culinary world. Back in March 2023, she revealed plans to open a restaurant but faced financial setbacks at the time. “Cooking is very much on my agenda… had some financial setbacks last year otherwise I was all set to launch my restaurant in the valley, will be coming soon though,” she shared.

Kangana now joins a list of Bollywood celebrities exploring the hospitality industry. Recently, Malaika Arora launched a restaurant in Goa, marking another Bollywood presence in the culinary scene.
