Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “sent by god” remarks, highlighting that coalitions are formed with humans, not Gods.
Sibal’s comments came in response to PM Modi’s assertion that he is a form of God and was sent by God.
“How can a coalition happen with Gods? The coalition is stitched with humans, not Gods. How can a common minimum program happen with God? It should be a common maximum program,” Sibal remarked.
Regarding JDU Leader KC Tyagi’s call for discussions on the shortcomings of the ‘Agnipath’ scheme within the NDA, Sibal noted that many people are unsatisfied with the scheme.
“Dayalu Bhagwan should think about this, and there should be discussions on this,” he added.
Sibal also criticized the BJP for its treatment of allies, citing examples like JDU in Bihar and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. He claimed that the BJP often tries to diminish its allies in various states.
